Details

BONDING AGENT is a specially formulated, low solids, single component, rapid curing primer designed for steel and non-porous metal. Its low viscosity contributes to ease of application and adheres well for top coating with Pinnacle polyurea products.

BONDING AGENT is recommend for use as a final wipe prior to spraying a truck bed liner. This adhesion promoter is applied to the bed and hand wiped over all exposed surfaces, it dries in about 5 minutes and insures a good bond.

BONDING AGENT primer may be used with most rapid curing polyurea sealants and spray coatings. It is designed for use in both interior and exterior priming situations. BONDING AGENT is suitable for use as a tie coat when applied over elastomeric coatings prior to re-coating. BONDING AGENT is also ideal for priming metal surfaces to help hold back flash rust.

Excellent primer for sprayed-on bed liners

We have been using this bonding agent for two years as a primer on steel, aluminum and stainless steel before spraying Rhino Extreme polyurea sprayed-on bed liners. It gives us peace of mind that the product we sprayed will adhere to the metal. We learned the hard way when we sprayed stainless steel without this product and it peeled off in one big sheet after one week. We used this bonding agent and re-did the job and a year and a half later it is still holding up. This bonding agent is a must use when spraying polyurea.
