Probler P2 Trouble Shooting

This article features a selection of common problems applicators have experienced with the Probler P2 spray gun along with the cause and solution.

SYMPTOM CAUSE SOLUTION
Gun does not actuate when triggered. Air switch assembly is closed

Plugged exhaust

Damaged trigger spool o-rings
Open

Clean air ports in handle

Replace
There is no fluid spraying when the gun is fully actuated. Closed fluid valves

Plugged impingement ports

Plugged check valves

Gun actuates slowly. Plugged exhaust

Damaged piston o-rings

Dirty air valve, or damaged o-rings

There is a leakage between flat tip and mixing chamber. Tip is not seated properly
